THE ARTS SOCIETY PAINSWICK was founded in 1984 and we are one of 338 societies throughout the UK, Europe and New Zealand, affiliated with The Arts Society. We meet in the morning of the second Thursday of the month except in August and January.

Our objective, through inspiring lectures, visits, Days of Special Interest and community volunteering projects, is to broaden our knowledge and enjoyment of the decorative and fine arts with like minded friendly people.

MEMBERSHIP
Annual 2026 membership is £55 and members receive THE ARTS REVIEW quarterly magazine and our biannual newsletter.

GUESTS
Prospective members may attend 1-2 lectures, for a guest fee of £10, in order to sample our lectures, and meet our members.

LECTURES
Lectures start promptly at 11am. 
The doors are open at 10am and tea, coffee and biscuits are served from 10:15am.

DAYS OF SPECIAL INTEREST
Days of Special Interest (DoSI) are an additional cost. Pre-booking is required and they are also open to non-members.
